Wild Grapes
Vitaceae Vitis
Parts: Leaves, fruit
For: The young leaves can be eaten as a cooked green or used as a wrapping for making stuffed meat or rice dishes. They are also used in canning and pickling although usually more for decoration than flavor. The fruit can be used for jams, jellies, juice and wine like commercially raised varieties. They sometimes have more seeds and are usually smaller and more tart but quite edible all the same.
