We abruptly moved out of our rented studio space last October (Oct 20th, 2025 approx), due to landlord maintenance vs city code issues, and a desire to not be forced to move quickly in the depths of winter. Before thanksgiving the building was labeled with a “failure to comply” notice by the city and the landlord posted a for sale sign instead of making repairs. A sale was completed, the 3 other tenants were evicted, and the new owner has demolished the building as of March 10th, 2026.
We enjoyed our time on Main Street, but for now, we are online, doing hosted classes, and supporting our retail and affiliate partners.
We are happy to do meet-ups with you at convenient locations across MI (ask), and we will see what summer brings.

Clean Laundry? Soap Shreds vs Fels Naptha and Talc.
Have you read my chat about the billion dollar cancer lawsuit over TALC and how it is slowly and partially being removed from skincare products? For a long time, Fels Naptha bar soap, (the most common ingredient in online DIY laundry recipes), has had talc as an ingredient, now the label is suddenly more vague and has a new distributor. Reports say some of the defendants in the talc lawsuit are shuffling products and making bankruptcy claims to avoid paying the injured. Fels naptha seems to be in that shuffle. If you are using Fels Naptha, PLEASE STOP.
PLEASE read your cosmetic labels carefully. If you need a fels naptha replacement, I have an excellent suggestion that’s similar in price, easier to use, and BETTER!
